Biography

Anne-Marie first joined Patterson Law as a law student in the summer of 2017. She later articled with the firm, gaining admission to the bar in 2020. After her admission to the bar, Anne-Marie clerked for the judges of the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. From her time with the Court, Anne-Marie brings strong research and analytical skills, and a valuable perspective on the judicial decision-making process to her practice.

Anne-Marie has a broad corporate commercial practice, advising business clients at various stages of their business life cycle from incorporation to windup/dissolution. Clients engage Anne-Marie for matters including purchase and sale transactions, corporate finance, corporate real estate, commercial leasing, contract negotiation and corporate governance matters. Outside of the office, Anne-Marie is a part-time academic at the Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus where she teaches an introduction to business law course.
